Bring in Peace

Its 20 past midnight and I am feeling damn sleepy,
With my mind not resting, thoughts are getting creepy,
Chattin with the friends’ whole night, keep it little bit busy,
Playing it to be cool and funky, this ain’t so easy
Close my eyes for a while, you appear so bright,
Try to grab and touch, and puff, you are out of my sight,
Hit me, shoot me, kill me, swear I won’t fight,
Bring in some peace to me, bring in some light...

Missing Life

Three months of missing each other lives
Three months of freedom, this doesn’t seem so nice
Three months of fighting with the pain alone
Three months of laughing, only to hear your own tone
Three months of living a different life
Three months of utmost survival strive
Three months of feeling blank from inside
Three months of putting fake smile
Three months of not sensing anything
Three months of non-stop thinking
Three months of slow down
Three months of inescapable frown
Three months of living you every second
Three months of giving every breath to it
Three months of curse or boon
Three months of long wait, wishing it to end soon...

Demand Vs Refusal

Every morning, I step outside my home and there he is, waiting for me so patiently at the end of the street. Just a glance of mine makes his heart beats faster than the F1 Cars. You can sense that when somebody starts putting everything in order to get your attention. When I move closer to him, he pulls his hand out of his pocket towards me. After I refuse to give in, he starts making annoying faces. When I keep on going without getting swayed by his efforts, he murmurs with the heavy heart “Just one penny in the name of God and he will give you health, wealth and happiness and blah blah and some more blah blah.” After my sure and confident refusal, he just keeps staring at me till I fade away from the reach of his eyes.
And next morning, the same story starts again with the same demand and it ends with the same refusal. He hopes that someday I’ll give in and I hope that someday he stops demanding.
